The countdown is on to Spondon's biggest community event of the year - Spondon Alight!
The popular annual Christmas lights switch-on event returns on Saturday 26th November from 4pm onwards, with organisers promising the "biggest and best" event yet.
As usual, the village centre will be packed with live music and entertainment, fun fair, stalls and amazing food and drink.
The main entertainment stage will be in the Village Hall car park and feature a variety of events throughout the evening (full details here). There will also be a street food market behind the Village Hall plus a variety of other stalls inside the Hall too.
Mantis Dojo on Chapel Side will host a Santa's Grotto and mini Makers Christmas Markets will be held behind Pat A Cake and at Born To Be Perform The popular Fun Fair will also fill the village centre streets. The Christmas lights switch-on and fireworks take place around 6pm.
